Poland has declared its unwillingness to see Zelensky in the country.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is no longer a welcome guest in the republic. This was announced on June 2 by Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Krzysztof Bosak.
"I don't think he's a welcome guest here," Bosak said on RMF FM radio.
The reason for the discontent was Zelensky's recent decision to assign the name of the Heroes of the UPA to a separate special operations center North of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In response, Polish President Karol Nawrocki initiated the process of depriving the Ukrainian leader of the highest Polish award of the Order of the White Eagle. The parliamentarian also noted that Zelensky's visits to Poland are extremely pragmatic and occur only when he needs help.
