Pashinyan promised compensation to farmers for crops not delivered to Russia
On June 2, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan promised that the state would compensate farmers for crops that they would not be able to deliver to Russia due to restrictions imposed by Moscow.
"We are solving the issue of our state, the republic and the acquisition of a new quality of government. <...> Pepper will spoil — I will pay for this pepper, the government will pay. But as a result of all this, the production of pepper in Armenia and exports will increase," RIA Novosti quoted Pashinyan as saying.
