The Tenet T8 crossover in a new five-seat version will go into production at the AGR holding plant in Kaluga. This is stated in the message of the domestic manufacturer, which was received by Izvestia on June 2.
The five-seat version of the Tenet T8 will be offered in front-wheel drive, while the seven-seat version is available only with full. In addition, if the current version of the crossover has a two-liter 197—horsepower turbo engine (375 Nm), then the new version has a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit with a capacity of 186 hp (275 Nm). The transmission is the same — a seven-speed "robot" with two "wet" clutches. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 7.7 liters / 100 km, the engine is designed to work with Ai-92 gasoline.

The trunk volume in the five—seat version is 889 liters with a standard layout and up to 1930 liters with a folded rear sofa. According to the company, the development of such a modification with front-wheel drive and two rows of seats is determined by the wishes of customers.

The list of equipment includes a 15.6-inch multimedia screen, a 10.3-inch dashboard display, a panoramic roof with a sunroof and curtain, dual-zone climate control, an eight-speaker audio system, an all-round viewing system, six airbags, telematics, electric front seat adjustments, and 18-inch wheels.
The winter package includes heating of all seats. The body and hidden cavities of the car are treated with wax, the bottom is protected by anti-corrosion, anti-gravity and noise insulation materials.
As reported on May 29, the number of produced cars of the Russian brand Tenet reached 100 thousand units. The AGR holding company in Kaluga has managed to achieve this milestone in 10 months since the restart of the conveyor.
