Ukraine at the UN called on the United States and Europe to shoot down drones over their territory

On June 1, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Andriy Melnyk, at a meeting of the UN Security Council, called on European countries and the United States to shoot down drones over Ukrainian territory.

"Most of all, Ukraine needs the commitment of our European and our American partners to actively intercept and destroy Russian missiles and drones over the territory of Ukraine," the Ukrinform news agency quoted him as saying.
