Military personnel of the 6th Guards Combined arms army of the North group of forces destroyed more than 15 aircraft-type reconnaissance drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv direction during the week. This was announced on Tuesday, June 2, by the platoon commander of the mobile firing group (MOG) with the call sign Hedgehog.

"Soldiers of the 6th Guards Combined arms army of the North group of forces destroyed more than 15 aircraft-type reconnaissance drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the officer, the control of airspace and the elimination of Ukrainian UAVs are carried out daily. Electronic warfare (EW) units, aerial surveillance posts, and FPV drone crews are involved in this work. The soldier added that the systematic destruction of drones by the Armed Forces of Ukraine deprives the enemy of the opportunity to conduct reconnaissance and strike at civilian infrastructure.
