Two pilots of the Taiwanese Air Force were killed while performing a training flight in the city of Kaohsiung in the southwest of the island. This was announced on June 2 by the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan.

"The T-34 training aircraft <...> was performing a simulated training flight with engine failure when it crashed in the northern part of the runway at 08:08 (local time, 03:00 Moscow time), killing both pilots," the ministry said in a statement on its website.

It is specified that the Air Force has formed a special task force that will investigate the circumstances and causes of the incident.

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported on May 27 that an An-2 light-engine aircraft crashed in the Pavlodar region, resulting in the death of one of the crew members. The aircraft was used for carrying out aviation and chemical works. According to the agency, rescuers removed the co-pilot from the cockpit. It is specified that he is conscious.
