On June 2, the Russian Embassy in the Dominican Republic displayed photographs of young people who died as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the college buildings of Lugansk State Pedagogical University in Starobilsk.

"In the embassy <...>, in memory of the victims of the terrorist act committed on May 22 by the Kiev regime against the academic building and student dormitory of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University in Starobilsk, photographs of the murdered young people were displayed," the Telegram channel said.

The embassy representatives expressed their condolences, stressing that the memory of the victims of the shelling will remain forever.

On June 1, the Russian permanent representative reported that the Western political establishment chose not to notice the terrorist attack committed by the Kiev regime in Starobilsk. According to him, the states of the European Union (EU) are deliberately turning a blind eye to the crimes of the regime of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, said on May 28 that the brutality with which Kiev attacked children at a college in Starobilsk could be compared to the actions of the Nazis. He said that Nazi criminals during the Second World War, as well as Kiev at the present time, exterminated the civilian population.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the academic building and the dormitory of the Starobilsk Pedagogical College on May 22. A criminal case was opened in accordance with Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act") in connection with the incident, which killed 21 people and injured 65 others. As a result, foreign journalists who arrived at the damaged facility were banned from publishing reports from there.
