The calculation of the MLRS "Hurricane" destroyed an ammunition depot and an accumulation of manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed an ammunition depot and an accumulation of manpower of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnolimansk area in the special operation area. This was announced on June 2 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Artillery units of the Zapad group of forces continue to strike enemy positions day and night, destroy defensive structures, suppress command posts and destroy weapons, equipment and firepower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The operation to destroy the enemy's ammunition depot was carried out by the calculation of the Hurricane MLRS. A powerful salvo of 220-mm rocket-propelled high-explosive shells at a range of more than 20 km made it possible to completely eliminate all targets, which ensured the successful advance of the assault units and the capture of these lines.

The results were monitored using reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which recorded detonation and fire at enemy positions. After completing the task, the gunners left the position, disguising the combat vehicle and taking refuge in an underground shelter to maintain combat capability.

"We leave on command. <...> Our car is calibrated, it shoots accurately.<...> We work quickly, accurately, smoothly. <...> They know all their duties," said the commander of the combat vehicle with the call sign Kashchey.

This coordination of the actions of the gunners demonstrates a high level of professional training, allows them to inflict significant damage to the enemy and reduces the risks to the advancing units.

On June 1, UAV crews of the Unmanned Systems Forces Unit (UAVs) of the 56th separate special purpose battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Center group of Forces destroyed camouflaged dugouts with AFU personnel in the Dobropolsky area of the SVR. The calculations are carried out in pairs: one soldier adjusts the flight of the drone taking into account the weather conditions, the second controls the device and takes it to the target.
