Soldiers of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the artillery unit of the Center group of forces disrupted the rotation of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), defeating the enemy's temporary deployment point in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on June 2 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The nationalists' temporary deployment point was hit. I think the guys did an excellent job, they did their job quickly," said Artyom Vinogradov, senior officer of the battery.

The location of the AFU units was revealed by the calculation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during aerial reconnaissance. After receiving the exact coordinates, the gunners quickly deployed the installation and fired 220-mm rockets. Target damage control and fire correction were also carried out by UAV operators.

"At the designated target, where the coordinates of the installation are given, we send the number of shells that are set. There was a significant goal that was fulfilled with this package — it was infantry who occupied a site in the private sector," said Maxim Pavlysh, senior MLRS gunner.

Monitoring confirmed the destruction of the facility and the elimination of a significant number of manpower, which led to the disruption of the enemy's plans for the rotation of units. After completing the firing task, the soldiers left the position.

On June 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that calculations of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the unmanned systems forces unit of the 56th separate special purpose battalion of the 51st Guards Army of the Center group of forces destroyed camouflaged dugouts with personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dobropolsky area of the SVR.
