Iran announced the prevention of the continuation of the blockade of Hormuz and the conflict in Lebanon.

Iran will not allow the United States to maintain the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and further aggravate the situation in Lebanon. This was announced on June 1 by Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to the Supreme leader of Iran.

"The Strait of Hormuz is under the control of Iran. We will not allow the continuation of the naval blockade and will not tolerate further escalation in Lebanon. The patience of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not unlimited," the message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Tasnim news agency reported on June 1 that Iran was immediately suspending negotiations with the United States due to the intensification of Israeli hostilities in Lebanon. The Iranian negotiators stated the need for a complete withdrawal of enemy troops from Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. According to them, negotiations with the United States will not resume until all the conditions of Iran are fulfilled.
