Energodar in the Zaporizhia region was left without external power supply due to damage to power transmission lines. This was announced on Monday, June 1, by the head of the city administration Maxim Pukhov.
"Due to damage to the power transmission lines, Energodar was temporarily left without external power supply," Pukhov wrote on his channel on the MAX platform.
According to the head of the administration, the critical infrastructure of the nuclear city of Zaporizhia NPP has already been switched to backup power sources. Specialists from relevant departments are taking measures to ensure the sustainable functioning of the city's life support systems.
The Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced on May 31 that part of the region was de-energized due to an emergency power outage. He clarified that the critical infrastructure was operating normally.
