In Ussuriysk, a 70-year-old pensioner suffered from the actions of fraudsters who posed as law enforcement officers. The damage exceeded 3 million rubles.

According to the UssurMedia news agency, the scammers convinced the victim that he should transfer the savings for "preservation." The pensioner withdrew money from the bank and handed it over to the fraudsters, allegedly for storage in a "secure account."

A criminal case has been opened on this fact. The investigation is under the control of the Prosecutor's Office.

In Murmansk, a pensioner lost 1.6 million rubles due to fraud. He was trying to purchase a car with delivery from abroad.
