Alcohol sales will be restricted for five days in Irkutsk

In Irkutsk, alcohol sales will be restricted for five days. This is due to the holding of festive events within the framework of the City Day.

According to the consumer market and licensing service of the region, a ban on the sale of alcohol will be in effect at the venues, as well as within a radius of 100 m from them. A total of 13 locations have been identified, the full list is provided by IrkutskMedia news agency.

The restrictions will be in effect on June 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The ban on retail trade does not apply to catering services.

Earlier it was reported that in Yakutsk, police officers and prosecutors revealed the fact of illegal alcohol trafficking. Over 1.83 thousand bottles of counterfeit products were seized. The sale was conducted around the clock at inflated prices through couriers.
