Experts compared the cost of owning a Russian-built car in a taxi
The NAPI marketing agency calculated the cost of owning Lada, Haval and Evolute gasoline cars when using them in taxis. This was reported in the press release of the NAPI on June 1.
The following conditions were used in the calculations. The legal entity that transports passengers has been selected as the owner. The car is leased: the term of the contract is 3 years, the rate is 27.5%, the initial payment is 20%. The car has been operated in Moscow for three years with an average annual mileage of 130,000 km. Tires have been changed three times during this period.
The study showed that the cost of owning a Haval Jolion gasoline crossover with a starting price tag of 2 million rubles in the Comfort version will be 12.45 rubles per km and 4.9 million rubles over three years. The Evolute i-Joy electric crossover of the previous generation in the City+ configuration (2.1 million rubles) will cost less — 11.51 rubles per km and 4.5 million rubles over three years.
Lada Granta Cross in the Comfort package (1 million 125 thousand rubles) is the most cost—effective - 9.49 rubles per km and 3.7 million rubles over three years. At the same time, the owner of an electric car will spend less on electricity than the owner of the other two cars on gasoline, NAPI calculated. So, i-Joy's charging costs for three years will amount to 1.1 million rubles, while refueling Grants and Jolyon will cost 1.8-1.9 million rubles, respectively.
Cars of the revived Volga brand were proposed to be included in the list of cars allowed to work in a taxi. As it was clarified on May 15, the All-Russian Association of Passengers took the initiative, it prepared a letter addressed to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov. Public figures in their appeal indicated that if Volga cars are included in the list, the manufacturer will be more motivated to increase the level of localization, which is still at a low level.
