The psychologist named simple tips for teenagers on summer holidays
Anastasia Cardiakos, a family psychologist, gave advice on how to spend a teenager's summer holidays.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, June 1, the expert warned that a downed regime during the summer holidays could negatively affect a child's health. According to her, the task of parents is not to limit a teenager, but to gently guide him, helping to build healthy habits without strict prohibitions.
She recommended giving the child a full meal with protein first, and only then allowing snacks, and turning physical activity into a game — for example, choosing a bike or volleyball instead of boring workouts. The specialist emphasized that summer carelessness should not harm your health, and it is important to develop respect for your body from an early age.
Boris Lopatin, senior expert on the investigation of fraud incidents at MegaFon, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru" on May 29 advised to prepare the child's smartphone in advance for summer trips and set up a safe digital environment. Before the holidays, it is recommended to check the installed applications, delete suspicious ones, limit in-game purchases and set up parental controls, geolocation, antivirus, as well as protection of the phone and SIM card using passwords and PIN, writes RT.
Prior to that, on May 28, Grigory Sergeev, chairman of the LizaAlert search and rescue team, called on parents of schoolchildren to teach their children how to use a compass during the summer holidays. He reminded that when planning a walk in the natural environment, you should always take with you a supply of water, warm clothes and a charged mobile phone, the Moscow City News agency reports.
Also in May, Elena Vasilyeva, a master's degree in psychology and a practicing psychologist, stressed that vacations are necessary for mental recovery, but the complete absence of a regime can make it difficult to return to school. According to her, it is better to negotiate rules with teenagers while maintaining their autonomy.
In March, Ivan Petrushin, a teacher and tutor in Russian language and literature, emphasized the importance of additional classes for schoolchildren in the summer. He stressed that early preparation forms a reliable basis for successful passing of exams. 360.ru .
In February, Ivan Kurbakov, Chairman of the Board of the interregional public organization Fathers Near, proposed granting working parents of primary school students the right to temporarily switch to a remote format during the holidays. Kurbakov noted that in the summer, many younger students are left unattended, which increases the risks to their safety and complicates the lives of parents.
