The "Children's Radio Disco" in the Kremlin Palace united generations

On May 31, the State Kremlin Palace hosted the Children's Radio Disco, a large—scale family celebration dedicated to the International Children's Day. Favorite artists and presenters, exciting, dynamic games and incendiary hits from the radio station gave unforgettable emotions to viewers of all ages.

The Children's Radio Disco is once again taking place on the main stage of the country on the eve of Children's Day, and this is very symbolic. A strong family is one of the fundamental traditional values of Russia, and it is important that on this day children and parents spend time together in an atmosphere of friendship and fun. Such moments strengthen family ties, give us all a sense of unity, warmth and optimism. This year, with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, we are conducting a professional video shoot. In the future, the recording will be broadcast on federal channels and on all digital platforms, which means that the holiday will not be limited to one day — it will be seen by millions of viewers across the country," said Vadim Tereshchuk, CEO of GPM Radio.

He wished all children and adults happiness, fulfillment of cherished desires, and self—confidence, because every day is a gift that must be appreciated and used to the fullest.

Music has an amazing power: it blurs all boundaries and unites hearts. To the friendly applause of the audience, "Cool", Anna Nemchenko, Alisa Buslova, "Without Toys", "Anderson", Igor Nikolaev and Veronika Nikolaeva, Dabro, Milana Uchaikina, Maria Yankovskaya, "Neposedy" and many other artists performed, whose songs are played daily on Children's Radio. The hall chorused with "Loud Dreams", "Sigma Girl", "One Hundred Friends", and the presenters — Toffee, Kirill Rasskazkin, Katya Znaykina, SuperGarik, Uncle Sasha and DJ Ale‑Alena — helped maintain the atmosphere of universal joy.

A special place in the program was occupied by the presentation of the song "Girl in the Game" performed by Alice Buslova. The song became the soundtrack to the family adventure film "Anything can happen in summer. Escape from Skolbor" is a film adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name by writer Sol Tay. The story, which originated as a bedtime story for a daughter, first captivated listeners of Children's Radio and digital audio platforms, and will soon come to life on the big screen. Alice not only recorded the soundtrack, but also played a role in the film. "The song appeared after I starred in the film,— said Alice Buslova. – When we showed it to the director, he lit up: "That's what we need!" Later, some individual scenes were even shot for this track."

Igor Nikolaev appeared on the Children's Radio Disco with his daughter Veronica. The young star not only came to support her dad, but also performed the hit "Sky with Blue Eyes." "She wrote this song herself, and I'm very proud of her. So far, these are just the first steps on the stage. Of course, over time, the stiffness will go away, but the main thing is that there remains a spark — the one that should burn in the artist all his life. And Veronica has it," Igor Nikolaev noted.

The musician believes that protecting children is not a one—time event on June 1, but a daily task. Every day should be a "children's day", and it is important that society does not forget about this.

The Dabro group energized the hall with the hits "Youth" and "On the clock zero‑zero", which invariably delight the guys. "We are often told that children feel music better than adults, and we believe in it. There is a good energy in our tracks, and it probably resonates in their hearts. At the same time, we have never focused on any specific audience, we just try to create something that will please as many people as possible. We remain children at heart, and perhaps this is reflected in our music," the Zasidkevich brothers revealed the secret of the popularity of their songs.

The touching moment of the evening was Anna Nemchenko's birthday greetings. Backstage, the singer was greeted by a huge bouquet of flowers, which Vadim Tereshchuk, the head of GPM Radio, presented to her along with the radio station's team, and the young correspondents of Children's Radio performed the song "Happy Birthday" for her. It turned out to be really warm and sincere. By the way, the guys on this day not only interviewed and made reports, they became a new musical group of Children's Radio and presented the anthem of all the reasons "Curious Children" on the stage of the Kremlin Palace.

Children's Radio Disco is a celebration of great music and universal joy! Over the 18-year history of the radio station, we have learned the main thing — to create a unique cocktail of bright numbers, amazing choreography, jokes of the presenters, smiles and genuine unity of children and adults for the Children's Day. Today, 20 performers were announced in the line-up, but with dancers and ballet groups, a record 378 artists took to the stage of the Kremlin Palace! And for two hours they lit up so that the audience not only watched the show, but became a part of it: adults, like children, immersed themselves in the atmosphere of Children's Radio games, danced and sang along to our wonderful hits. It turned out to be an easy, delightful holiday that will be remembered for a long time, and everyone will look forward to the next such show for a whole year," said Elena Bondarenko, producer of the radio station.
