Parks and squares of Murmansk were treated from rats

In Murmansk, deratization was carried out on the territory of several urban areas and in apartment buildings. Ivan Lebedev, the mayor of the city, spoke about the interim results of the fight against rodents on Monday, June 1.

According to him, rats have already been killed around Lake Semenovsky, in the park, on the alley and playground next to the monument "Waiting", as well as at the monument to the Twin Cities.

In addition, continuous processing was carried out at 197 and 196 sites in Pervomaisky and Leninsky districts, respectively. In the Oktyabrsky district, 75 buildings of legal entities and 69 facilities of resource-supplying organizations were processed.

However, in social networks, citizens report new addresses where, in their opinion, it is necessary to strengthen measures for deratization, writes the Bi-port news agency. In particular, we are talking about the house number 108 on Kolsky Avenue and the house number 43k3 on Lobova Street.

Earlier it was reported that large-scale landscaping of the pedestrian part of Leningradskaya Street has begun in Murmansk. Landscaping work began with the planting of lilacs.
