A man who killed a five-month-old daughter because of crying was sentenced to 22 years in a penal colony.

Muradjon Kholnazarov, a resident of Lyubertsy near Moscow, who beat his five-month-old daughter to death because of crying, was sentenced to 22 years in a high-security penal colony. This was announced on June 1 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Moscow Regional Court.

The man was found guilty of murdering a child with extreme cruelty, systematically beating a woman, and improper performance of parental duties. He will also have to pay a fine of 60 thousand rubles.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 19, 2024 in the village of Malakhovka. According to investigators, the foreigner got angry because of his daughter's crying and began hitting her on the head in front of his wife and eight-year-old stepdaughter. The girl died on the spot. It is known that Kholnazarov had been using drugs for several years and had repeatedly beaten family members.

On May 7, the state prosecution requested 23 years in a high-security penal colony for Kholnazarov for the murder of his five-month-old daughter due to crying. The defendant partially admitted his guilt — Kholnazarov denies that he hit the child in the face. The examination did not reveal any mental disorders in the person involved and declared him sane.
