VTB has issued almost 7 million Pushkin cards since the beginning of 2026
VTB summed up the interim results of the Pushkin Card program, which the bank has been operating since January 2026 as part of the Postbank integration. In the first five months of the year, almost 7 million cards were issued. Today, every second young Russian participates in the program and uses the card to attend cultural events. Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB, announced this on the eve of SPIEF 2026.
According to the bank, from January to May, users of the Pushkin card purchased 12 million tickets. The total expenses of the program participants for cultural events exceeded 5.6 billion rubles, of which about 2 billion rubles accounted for visits to cinemas.
The most active participants in the program were young people between the ages of 15 and 19. Representatives of this age group have issued more than 3 million cards and have already used them to purchase tickets.
"VTB is launching new projects for a young audience, while the Pushkin Map remains one of our priorities. At the same time, we are strengthening the ecosystem offer through related products — cyber cards, the Youth Plus service, and youth cards that cover the daily needs of the audience. The Pushkin Card gives young people access to the most interesting cultural events across the country, which ensures a consistently high interest in the product. We expect to maintain the pace of issuing new cards until the end of the year," Olga Skorobogatova said.
The Pushkin Card program has been in effect since 2021. It is intended for young people aged 14 to 22 years inclusive and is aimed at increasing the accessibility of cultural events. Every year, the state transfers 5,000 rubles to the card, which can be spent on visiting theaters, museums, exhibitions, concerts and movies. At the same time, it is allowed to allocate up to 2 thousand rubles from the total limit to purchase cinema tickets.
Pushkin's cards are most often issued by young people in Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Orenburg, Tambov and Omsk regions.
