VTB noted the interest of young people in savings products
Russians aged 14-25 years old keep more than 60 billion rubles in savings accounts at VTB. At the same time, the average check of a customer in the youth segment has increased by 11% since the end of 2025 and amounts to more than 71 thousand rubles, the bank said.
"VTB continues to develop financial solutions for families, paying special attention to young people: today the bank's customer base at the age of 14-25 already exceeds 4 million people and the potential for its further increase remains high," said Dmitry Breitenbikher, member of the VTB Management Board, on the eve of SPIEF 2026.
According to him, young people need quick access to financial instruments and transparent profitability. He said that in July VTB will launch a special savings account for customers aged 14-25. The new product will also be available to young Postbank customers who joined VTB as part of the integration, Breitenbicher said.
The bank stressed that VTB develops products for young people "in a co—authorship format": key decisions — from the design of digital cards to account and deposit conditions - are discussed together with young people who work at the bank and use its products. This approach, according to experts, allows you to more accurately meet the expectations of a young audience and adapt products to their needs faster.
