Zelensky allowed negotiations to take place before the onset of winter

Russia and Ukraine have a window of opportunity to negotiate before winter sets in. This was announced on May 31 by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

"So now we have this time period until winter. Therefore, I think that in the winter — before the onset of winter — we need to find a way, a diplomatic way, to sit down at the negotiating table and talk," Zelensky said in an interview with CBS News.
