In Makhachkala, a case of carbon monoxide poisoning was recorded in an apartment building, as a result of which six people, including two children, were injured. This was reported on June 1 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Dagestan.

"Six people, including two children, were injured by carbon monoxide in an apartment building on Magomet Gadzhiyev Street. The condition of the victims is moderate and stable," the ministry said in a statement on the Maks messenger.

All the injured were taken to medical institutions, there is no threat to their lives. The situation is under control.

On March 20, two people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in the Tabasaran region of Dagestan. It was clarified that, previously, the cause of the leak was a failed valve on a gas boiler.
