Every third company in Russia raised employee salaries in the first two quarters of 2026. This became known on June 1 from the results of the study. hh.ru .

"Every third Russian company (33%) increased a fixed portion of employee salaries in the first half of 2026, while another 59% kept their salary levels at the same level," RIA Novosti reported, citing the study.

It is specified that salaries have increased the most among employees of the medical and pharmacological industries — 44% of companies have raised salaries for their employees. The second place belongs to companies from the field of electronics, and the third belongs to the branches of education, the financial sector, the service sector and the oil and gas industry. Their salaries increased by 39% and 36%, respectively.

Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, said on May 29 that the welding profession is currently the highest-paid among working professions on the Russian labor market. Safonov noted that at the beginning of 2026, the median salary for shift vacancies in industry and the private sector reached 267 thousand rubles per month.

On April 29, Avito Rabota reported that the highest-paid office specialists in Russia in the first quarter of 2026 were data analysts, who were offered an average of about 168 thousand rubles per month. In second place in terms of revenue were business analysts who study the processes and performance of companies, identifying growth points.
