Russian troops are advancing towards the center of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from three directions, continuing to expand the control zone along the front line. This was announced on June 1 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"In the Konstantinovsky direction, we see the continuation of urban fighting. Our divisions are moving towards the center [of the city] from three directions," Vesti's Telegram channel quoted him as saying.

According to the head of the DPR, fighting is currently continuing in the area of the railway station, as well as near Molocharka and Novodmitrovka.

On May 21, the press service of the Russian FSB directorate for the DPR reported that the Gorynych FSB unit had eliminated three sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs), as well as an ammunition depot for drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of Konstantinovka.
