Sobyanin spoke about the results and plans for the development of the Communal apartment

The Moscow Communal community continues to create a comfortable and balanced urban area with high-quality housing, well-developed infrastructure and jobs close to home. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, noting that one of the key reasons for the expansion of Moscow's borders in 2012 was the need to create such new development centers.

Much of the planned work has already been done, the mayor noted. "In recent years, 6.28 million square meters have been built in Kommunarka. real estate, including the famous hospital and about 50 other social facilities," Sobyanin wrote on his personal blog. "The Sokolnicheskaya and Troitskaya metro lines have arrived in the area."

The mayor also shared plans for the further development of the Communal apartment. "In order to ensure pedestrian accessibility of the metro for the maximum number of local residents, we are building three more stations of the Troitskaya line.: "Pine trees", "Rakitki" and "Desna". It is planned to open them in 2029," he informed.

New roads are being actively built. In particular, the Voskresenskoye– Karakashevo –Shcherbinka highway was put into operation, which connected Kommunarka with Yuzhny Butovo and Shcherbinka. The construction of the MKAD backup highway, which will pass through Butovo and connect Solntsevo and Varshavskoye highways, is being completed.

"More than 10 km of local roads are currently being built and reconstructed in the area. Polyana, Bachurinskaya, Alexandra Monakhova Streets and Kuprin Avenue are in operation," the mayor added.

Despite the active construction, there is still enough free space in the Communal apartment. Recently, Sobyanin recalled, a planning project for a 132-hectare area near Novomoskovskaya was approved. Over 1.2 million square meters will be built there in the next 15 years. real estate and will create about 10 thousand jobs.

According to the mayor, the development of a communal apartment is "a good example of creating a modern urban environment." Similar projects will be implemented in other parts of Moscow, Sobyanin added.
