What is known about the attack on a schoolgirl in New Moscow

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 26, in the residential complex "Salarievo Park" in New Moscow. According to the victim's family, two local residents attacked a 14-year-old girl from Buryatia, who came to visit a friend. As a result, the teenager was hospitalized with a concussion, a split eyebrow and numerous bruises.

The details of what happened on May 31 were told to Izvestia by the schoolgirl's mother Oksana. She explains that the reason for the conflict was that the girl tried to get into the entrance and pulled the door, which allegedly caused dissatisfaction among the women.

According to the source, the attackers cornered the teenager, kicked her and pulled her hair. As a result, the girl received five stitches on her split eyebrow. In addition, there were numerous bruises on the child's arms and legs.

According to the mother, the schoolgirl was in a state of severe shock and could neither resist nor call for help. The women allegedly talked quietly, trying not to attract the attention of others. The beating stopped only after the girl was able to reach the door of her friend's apartment and knock on it. When she heard the knock, her friend left the apartment.

In addition, according to the victim's family, later one of the accused, through a lawyer, offered to resolve the conflict in a pre-trial manner. The girl's parents were offered compensation in the amount of 50 thousand rubles in exchange for a settlement agreement.

The reaction of the authorities of Buryatia to the incident

The head of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, commented on the attack on a 14-year-old native of the republic, which took place in New Moscow at the end of May. After a public outcry, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism") against women suspected of assaulting a 14-year-old girl in New Moscow.
