- The Romanian president pointed to the threat of drone incidents to the country's citizens.
Romanian President Nicusor Dan noted that incidents with drones pose a threat to Romania, so it is necessary to exclude damage to his country, the British television company BBC reported on June 1.
At the same time, the Russian Embassy reported on May 20 that the incident with the drone crash in Romania was a provocation by the Kiev regime, which is trying to draw NATO into a conflict with Russia. The diplomatic mission stressed that the events in Galat cannot be interpreted as hostile actions by Russia, and all statements are manipulative propaganda.
Dan, speaking about the threat from drones, said that Russia should allegedly change its tactics in Ukraine and make sure that it does not harm Ukrainian citizens.
On May 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for waiting for the examination of the UAV wreckage in Romania. He recalled that in previous similar cases, it later turned out that the devices were not related to Russia and were manufactured in Ukraine.
