The Reuters news agency reported on March 6 that the Swedish Coast Guard boarded the bulk carrier Caffa in the Baltic Sea and seized the vessel. It was noted that the vessel was sailing in the territorial waters of Sweden under the Guinean flag. Later it became known that there was a Russian crew on board.: 10 of the 11 crew members have Russian citizenship. The Russian Embassy noted that the conditions of detention of the captain of the bulk carrier Caffa detained in Sweden are satisfactory.
