Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev completed his performance at the French Open Tennis Championships (Roland Garros) on May 31 after losing to Jakub Menshik of the Czech Republic in the fourth round of the competition.

The confrontation on the court lasted 3 hours and 48 minutes and ended with a score 6:3, 7:6 (8:6), 4:6, 2:6, 6:3.

"Rublev completed eight straight serves, made four double faults and made five break points out of 15. His 20-year-old opponent scored 13 aces, nine double faults and four break points (out of 18)," Sport-Express reports.

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros on May 31. In the fourth round match of the tournament in Paris, she, seeded at number eight, beat Switzerland's Gilles Teichmann with a score of 6:3, 6:2. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 26 minutes.
