Former Austrian Foreign Minister urges EU countries to establish dialogue with Russia

Each EU country should independently restore a normal dialogue with Russia, rather than delegating negotiations to a single representative from the entire association. This statement was made on June 1 by the former head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry, Karin Kneissl.

"I think it's much more necessary for every (European — Ed.) capital to start a dialogue with Russia in some way. It's not that difficult, they all have ambassadors here, there's no need to invent anything," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying from the sidelines of the New Media Workshop.
