Russians were told about the long holiday weekend in June

In June, Russian citizens will have a long weekend off in connection with the celebration of Russia Day, followed by a short four—day work week.

The four-day working week will last from June 8 to 11, after which citizens will celebrate Russia Day on June 12, TASS reports.

In accordance with labor legislation, the working day on a public holiday is shortened by one hour.

The next shortened working week is expected in November.
