Part of the Zaporizhia region was de-energized due to an emergency power outage. This was announced on May 31 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.

"Emergency power outages have affected a significant part of the Zaporizhia region," Balitsky wrote on the Maks messenger.

According to the publication, the critical infrastructure continues to operate normally. The head of the region added that power engineers are working to restore electricity supply as soon as possible.

On the same day, Balitsky reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had attacked a school in the town of Vasilyevka. As a result of the incident, the school bus and the window glazing of the educational institution were damaged. At the same time, none of the civilians were injured.
