Ushakov joked about his ability to "turn off the brain"
Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, joked in an interview with the Vesti news agency published on May 31 that he had the ability to "turn off the brain."
Ushakov responded appropriately to the journalist's statement by journalist Pavel Zarubin that the assistant to the head of state allegedly could not afford such behavior.
"Why, I can too. He (the brain. It never works at all, so you don't even need to turn it on," Ushakov said on the sidelines of the EAEU summit in Kazakhstan.
Answering a question from Izvestia on May 29, Ushakov called the Russian leader's state visit to Kazakhstan very good. Speaking to Izvestia a day earlier, he clarified that Moscow and Astana had managed to reach the required agreements.
