The Ukrainian command has deployed soldiers from the 138th Radio Engineering Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force to equip positions in the Chernihiv region. This was reported on May 31 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

As noted, the nationalists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) themselves attribute this decision to the attempts of the command to conceal corruption crimes of the regional administration for hundreds of millions.

"The Ukrainian nationalists themselves are confident that in this way the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is covering up the corruption crimes of the Chernihiv administration, which has spent hundreds of millions of budget funds on equipping fortifications," the source told RIA Novosti.

On the same day, Russian law enforcement agencies said that the Ukrainian command had decided to transfer the 27th separate regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) from the Chernihiv region to Sumy amid large-scale losses. It is noted that in the Sumy region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already using units deployed from the rear areas, as well as soldiers from training centers.
