The US Armed Forces reported a strike on a ship in the eastern Pacific Ocean

The US military in the eastern Pacific Ocean attacked a ship allegedly connected with the transportation of drugs. This was announced on May 30 by the Southern Command of the US Armed Forces (SOUTHCOM).

"On the instructions of the commander of the Southern Command, General Francis L. Donovan, the Southern Spear Joint Task Force conducted a deadly kinetic strike on the vessel," the department said in a statement on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

It is indicated that, according to American intelligence, the ship allegedly followed a well-known drug trafficking route.

The impact killed three people on board. No one was injured among the US military.
