Italy plans to send about 100 military personnel to Romania to participate in a training mission related to preparing for possible threats after the drone incident. This was reported on May 30 by the newspaper La Repubblica, citing sources.
"This is extremely serious. The Italian Ministry of Defense is preparing an operation in Romania. It will begin in two weeks, on June 15, and will last at least a month," the publication says.
