The IDF reported the destruction of the Hezbollah artillery command
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has destroyed the Hezbollah artillery command in southern Lebanon. This was announced on May 30 by the IDF press service.
"The IDF attacked and destroyed the artillery headquarters...> Hezbollah organizations in the area of Shmaali in southern Lebanon," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to the publication, a secondary explosion occurred after the impact, which allegedly indicates the presence of weapons inside the building. It is noted that the attack on the headquarters occurred due to the presence of Hezbollah members in the area.
The day before, the Reuters news agency reported, citing the UN Children's Fund, that an average of 11 children per day were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon this week. It is clarified that the IDF launched massive strikes on towns and villages in southern Lebanon after Israel declared a new section of this territory a "war zone."
