APU attacked the engine room of the NPP power unit
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the engine room of power unit No. 6 of the Zaporizhia NPP. According to the head of Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, the strike was targeted — the drone was controlled using optical fiber.
There are no casualties or critical damage, and all systems of the power unit are operating normally. Likhachev stressed that attacks are becoming more and more dangerous and people far beyond the borders of Russia and Ukraine can suffer from them.
Yuri Chernichuk, director of the NPP, called the impact on the engine room of the power unit very serious. According to him, an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces could disable the entire station unit.
Attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on the military infrastructure of Ukraine

The Investigative Committee of Russia reported that an 18-year-old resident of Tuapse entered into correspondence with a recruiter associated with a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation. The curator offered the young man, for a fee, to make an improvised explosive device (IED) to blow up an administrative building in Tuapse.
The man agreed and involved his 17-year-old friend in the execution of the plan. Under the guidance of a curator from abroad, they photographed and videotaped the building, the future target of the terrorist attack.
The attackers admitted their guilt. The court remanded them in custody at the request of the investigation.
The Ministry of Health has approved a new list of medical positions
11 new specialties have been added to the list of medical staff positions, including a doctor of healthy longevity medicine, a nutritionist, a medical psychologist, a neuropsychologist, and a specialist in physical rehabilitation.
16 specialties are excluded from the list: a diabetologist, a laboratory technician, a teenage psychiatrist, a district psychiatrist, a sexologist, a dentist, and a paramedic narcologist. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2026.
Lyubov Kunakova, a ballerina at the Mariinsky Theatre, has died
Lyubov Kunakova, Honored and People's Artist of the RSFSR, ballet master and tutor of the Mariinsky Theater, died at the age of 75.
During her career, she was a leading performer, shone in "The Legend of Love", "Sleeping Beauty", "Giselle", "La Bayadere", "Swan Lake", "Raymond", "Corsair" and "Don Quixote". Since 1997, she has worked as a teacher-tutor at the Mariinsky Theatre. In 2009, she was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
Medvedev has published an AI message to EU leaders
