The UK reported the discovery of a missing sapboarder in Omsk.
The body of a woman who disappeared with her roommate after rafting on sapboards in Omsk was found in the Irtysh River. This was announced on May 30 by the Investigative Department of the regional branch of the Investigative Committee (IC).
"Today, during the organized search activities in the river basin near the village of Nikolaevka, the body of a missing woman and two glanders were found in Omsk," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
Investigators are working at the scene of the discovery of the body and continue to clarify the circumstances of the disappearance of the boarders.
Earlier in the day, a source from Izvestia reported that the body of one of the boarders had been found near the village of Nikolaevka. According to the source, the deceased was found near the place where the couple started swimming.
The disappearance of Anatoly Boikov and his companion Olga Simochkina in Omsk became known on May 28. They went for a walk on the 25th of the same month and their location has not been known since. It was clarified that the man and the woman were lightly dressed.
