The UK may send fighter jets to Romania to participate in the NATO airspace patrol mission. This was announced on May 29 by the country's Defense Minister John Healy.

"Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft are already being used in Romania to support NATO's patrolling of airspace. We will work together with the NATO Secretary General to help strengthen this presence, if necessary," the Defense Minister wrote on the social network X.
