President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko and head of the parliamentary Defense Committee Alexander Zavitnevich to the Supreme Commander's headquarters. The decree stating this was published on May 29 on the official website of the Ukrainian president.

"To introduce the Supreme Commander-in-Chief into the staff of the headquarters: <...> Sergey Mikhailovich Marchenko, Minister of Finance of Ukraine," the document says.
