Karina Zorina's relatives reported her anxiety before her detention in Dubai.

Karina Zorina's mother told Izvestia of her daughter's anxious feelings on the eve of her detention at Dubai airport, where, according to the family, rapper Big Tobz handed the girl a suitcase with 17 kg of drugs.

"She texted her friend that something was bothering her. She told her to keep an eye on her bag. She had no suitcases, nothing, just hand luggage," the woman noted.

Karina's sister Valeria told Izvestia that after the arrest, rapper Big Tobz tried to create the impression that he was not involved in what was happening. According to her, after she and Karina were separated during the interrogation, the girl asked him questions in a messenger, after which he deleted the correspondence.

"They had a friendly, friendly relationship. She hasn't known him for a day, two days, or a week," Valeria added.

Karina's dance teacher, Valentina, told Izvestia that she had never noticed any signs of alcohol or drug use in her student. According to her, the girl led an active and healthy lifestyle.

"I'm sure Karina was framed. She has always led a healthy lifestyle. She worked out in the gym, danced, she blogged. That is, I have never seen her in any such bad companies," said Valentina.

The Supreme Court called for a reduced sentence and an individual approach to such crimes.

On May 28, the Russian Consulate General in Dubai announced that it had established contact with a Russian citizen detained in the UAE after 17 kg of drugs were found in her luggage. The diplomatic mission noted that they are in touch with the local authorities on this case.
