The agreements on the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Canada are a manifestation of Ottawa's anti-Russian policy and indicate its desire to support the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on May 29 by Russian Ambassador to Canada Oleg Stepanov.

"The agreement announced by official Ottawa on the production of unmanned systems for the Kiev regime is part of the hostile policy of the cabinet of [Canadian Prime Minister] Mark Carney towards our country. Evidence of a desire to fuel the conflict in order to earn extra money from it," TASS quoted him as saying.
