The United States has confiscated about $1 billion worth of cryptocurrencies from Iranians. This was announced on May 29 by the head of the US Treasury, Scott Bessent, during the Reagan Economic Forum.

"I believe we have confiscated about a billion dollars of their cryptocurrencies," said Bessent.
