Sapper Tolmachev defused six anti-personnel mines and three FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Guard's sapper, Ensign Denis Tolmachev, was engaged in providing Russian assault groups in the area of the special military operation (SVO). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Friday, May 29.

During the task, Tolmachev discovered six anti-personnel mines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and destroyed them. In addition, the soldier noticed three enemy FPV drones in the air, which intended to strike at the assault groups. Tolmachev also eliminated the drones without consequences for the Russian military.

The Defense Ministry also noted the courage of Corporal Vladislav Kotik, who conducted reconnaissance when one of the assault groups was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One of the soldiers was wounded. The commander instructed the Seal to evacuate the victim. The corporal reached the wounded man, gave him first aid and ensured evacuation for further treatment.

On May 29, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told how Private Andrei Kotsyuba discovered and eliminated a camouflaged machine-gun position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Having imperceptibly approached the position, the soldier used grenades. This allowed the assault unit to break into the AFU stronghold and successfully take it under control.
