Armenia's withdrawal from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will lead to a situation in which workers from the republic will be forced to buy patents to work in Russia. This was announced on May 29 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a state visit to Kazakhstan.

"The application of the requirements applicable to migrants from the CIS countries to workers from Armenia. What does it mean? This means that you will need to buy patents to work in Russia," the president explained.
