Fars reported on Iran's demand for the United States to pay $12 billion
One of the conditions of the agreement between Iran and the United States is the immediate transfer of $12 billion from assets frozen abroad to Tehran. Only after receiving these funds is the Islamic Republic ready to continue further dialogue. This was reported on May 29 by the Fars news agency, citing sources.
"The most important part of the agreement that [US President Donald] Trump did not mention that this was a condition for the immediate payment of $12 billion from Iran's frozen assets. According to the text of the agreement, this amount must be paid immediately, and until this payment is made, Iran will not enter into further negotiations," the Telegram channel said.
