What should an investor keep an eye on this week
On Monday, Aeroflot will publish its IFRS results for the first quarter of 2026. Rusal will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on dividends for the first quarter (the Board of Directors recommended not to pay them). The Moscow Stock Exchange will disclose data on trading volumes for May. The Bank of Russia will hold a press conference on the Financial Stability Review. PMI data for the manufacturing sector for May from S&P Global is also expected.
June 2 is the last day for the purchase of shares of Ozon Pharmaceuticals for dividends for 2025 in the amount of 0.27 rubles per share. Also on this day, the Moscow Stock Exchange begins trading futures on depositary receipts of the world's largest companies.
On Wednesday, the registry of Ozon Pharmaceuticals is expected to be closed for final dividends (0.27 rubles per share). The annual general meeting of shareholders of ROSSETI Lenenergo on dividends for 2025 (0.5379 rubles per ordinary share and 36.7247 rubles per preferred share) will be held. The Ministry of Finance will disclose the details of operations on the foreign exchange market within the framework of the budget rule for June. Rosstat will present weekly data on inflation, labor market and retail sales for April, as well as an estimate of GDP.
The annual general meeting of shareholders of MICEX on dividends for 2025 (2.8 rubles per share) and Rosgosstrakh (0.0041 rubles per share) is expected on June 4. T-Technologies will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on an additional issue to consolidate 100% of JSC Tochka.
Friday is the last day for the purchase of Henderson shares under the dividend for the first quarter of 2026 (17 rubles per share).
The RGBI index, according to Alexander Ugryumov, senior analyst at Gazprombank, will continue to consolidate near 119 points.
Most experts agree that the ruble will remain strong, but it may adjust depending on the decision of the Ministry of Finance to purchase the currency. Alexander Ugryumov's forecasts: yuan — 10.4–10.7 rubles, dollar — 71-73, euro — 78-80. Finam analyst Alexander Potavin expects a wider range for the euro (82-85 rubles) and the dollar (70.5–73). Alexander Dudnikov, an analyst at Cifra Broker, assumes fluctuations in the yuan in the range of 10.3–10.7 rubles.
According to Alexander Ugryumov, senior analyst at Gazprombank, the Moscow Exchange index will continue its neutral-negative dynamics within the framework of the current correction with fluctuations in the range of 2520-2580 points. Andrey Alekseev, senior portfolio manager at Pervaya Management Company, attributes the decline in the index to cheaper oil and a strong ruble, expecting a drift near 2,600 points.
