A hurricane demolished a construction crane along with a worker in Tyumen

A construction crane collapsed in the Tyumen region during a hurricane on May 28. There is a deceased, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported.

The tragedy occurred at about 19:00 at a construction site in the village of Patrusheva. A strong wind blew down the tower crane, as a result of which the crane operator was injured. The man later died in hospital from his injuries.

The prosecutor's office has organized an inspection of compliance with the requirements of urban planning legislation and legislation on industrial safety and labor protection, writes the news agency " <url>".

A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during other work that negligently caused the death of a person").
