Lukashenko suggested Macron to call Putin and have a "manly" conversation

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on May 29 that he had invited French leader Emmanuel Macron to call Russian President Vladimir Putin and have a "manly" conversation at the meeting.

Lukashenko and Macron had a telephone conversation on May 24 at the initiative of the French side. During the meeting, the presidents discussed regional issues and relations between Minsk and Brussels. The French TV channel TF1 reported on May 24 that Macron, in a conversation with Lukashenko, stated the risks for Belarus in the event of the country's involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.
